Shadow Canyon

Shadow Canyon is the kind of place people move to when they’re tired of seeing their neighbor’s roofline through every window. It’s a well-established community where the lots are big, the oaks are old, and the homes have actual character. You won’t find any tract-home vibes here; these are custom builds, mostly from the late 90s and early 2000s, sitting on 1 to 3-acre spreads that offer a ton of privacy. It’s a quiet, peaceful neighborhood where the sound of the wind through the cedars is louder than the traffic. What I love about it is the location. You feel like you’re out in the sticks, but you can be at the HEB Plus! at Highway 46 and 281 in about ten minutes. It’s a perfect middle ground for someone who works in San Antonio or New Braunfels but wants to come home to a piece of the Hill Country that feels genuinely wild and preserved. It's the type of neighborhood where kids can actually explore the woods in their own backyard.
